We are a 13 acre ranch where Suri and Huacaya Alpacas and people blend together.
Sharing the land with our Alpacas has brought wonderful change to our lives. Bill
and I take care of the ranch with three of our children, and we are foster parents of
three people with special needs. We had rental property and found out we enjoy
Alpacas 100% more.
The Alpacas have given us the most unexpected joys and brought us such happy
times. Some, like Lizzy, lay down beside us when we sit in the grass and snuggle.
They all have unique personalities, just like people. These gentle animals are
environmentally friendly and do not tear your grass out like lots of livestock. You
can have 6 animals per acre. They have a fantastic fiber which is sheared and used
in the fashion industry.
There are great financial benefits for raising Alpacas! There are great tax breaks for
Alpaca owners and breeders. These animals are quite exclusive and should be taken
seriously, as they are registered and DNA tested. They truly are a huggable financial
